Our new dining room is nearly complete. Work started in August last year and we hope to be using it within the next couple of months. Much of the work has been done ‘in-house’, but our thanks go to Ralph May and his team from Mayway Construction who gave many hours of their time as a gift to the Centre.
We plan to start a major project this summer to make good the drive. With increasing numbers of people visiting the Centre it has become a priority. The rains of last year did much damage and we are looking to do the work in sections in order to keep costs down and to enable us to keep open while this happens.
We hope you will find something in our programme that attracts you. So many people experience a real peace here and enjoy exploring the sixty-five acres of land that the Centre manages. We have much wildlife and the lake has already become home to moorhens, Canada geese, mallards and even some swans have paid us regular visits this year. We hope they may decide to nest.
